Ivey Ivy is a teacher of the gifted in the Starkville School District. She has taught gifted for 11 years, both in Starkville and in West Point, where she served as her district's contact person to the Mississippi Department of Education. She previously worked as a Project Director and Youth Development Specialist at Mississippi University for Women, where she developed and led K-12 grant programs for underserved youth. She is the author and coauthor of several grants and has presented numerous times at state and local professional conferences.
