Tennille Komulainen helped lay the groundwork for Golden Triangle Theatre’s first season. She devoted her time and efforts to establish a program that would allow children of all ages to explore their talents in the performing arts.

Tennille had ability to see the good in every individual and in every situation made people want to be around her. She had an amazing way of developing the unique gifts in each student. Her attention to the hearts of every single student will carry on forever. There were no small parts in her mind. She made each person feel as though they are significant and seen.

In addition to her teaching and directing at Golden Triangle Theatre, she was a teacher at Columbus Christian Academy in Columbus. She taught theatre, directed weekly chapels, and lead and mentored students on and off campus.

One of the things Tennille was loved for was her personal and individual handwritten notes she would give to every member of her cast and crew for each show. She would let them know how much she appreciated them, the way they impacted the entire show (regardless of their role) and how they impacted her personally.
